Some reviews about Left handed TaylorMade Tour Burner Irons :
The TaylorMade Golf Tour Burner 9 Piece Iron Set with Graphite Shafts each have an offset inverted cone clubface that gives faster average ball speed and longer distance on shots due to the thin and fast 2.2 mm face. That revolutionary face offers increased c.o.r., and the cavity badge delivers a super satisfying feel and sound and a clean, classic look at the address.
If you want to feel the raw power of crushing the ball off the tee, then this is the driver for you. For the distance addict, the TaylorMade Burner Driver is the fix. Sleek and speedy, the Burner uses TaylorMade’s “Superfast” club technology to provide longer club length and an overall lighter weight (299 grams vs 320 grams), resulting in faster swing speeds and long-bomb power. Superfast Technology includes lighter, longer shafts, longer grips, larger more forgiving club heads, higher COR (coefficient of restitution – represents the velocity of the ball before and after impact), higher launch angles, and lower spin rates. Through testing in its innovation lab, TaylorMade has been able to generate the following increases in distance through this technology:
+3 yards (2.74m) – The TaylorMade Burner Driver uses an expanded MOI (moment of inertia – the club’s resistance to twisting at impact with the ball) across the club head for maximum forgiveness on miss-hits. The USGA limits the amount of the MOI because they feel that further increases to MOI could reduce the challenge of the game by reducing the skill required to hit the ball straight. So TaylorMade has expanded the area of the MOI on the club head, so that you can get the maximum allowable MOI across the face of the club – pretty cool.
+3 yards (2.74m) – The TaylorMade Burner Driver has a lower center of gravity in the club head, resulting in additional swing speed. Independent test results show that a 3-4 mph (4.8-6.4 km/h) average increase in swing speed will translate to 3-9 yards (2.7-8.2m) more in distance.
+5 yards (4.57m) – The TaylorMade Burner Driver has an extended shaft length – a longer shaft is able to generate faster swings
+2 yards (1.83m) – The TaylorMade Burner Driver has a lighter shaft and grip, which again means faster swing speeds

Left Handed TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch Irons Review

If you are left handed and a super fan of Taylormade, then here what I wrote below will be very useful to you. With the low-profile design which helps moderate speed swingers launch the ball in the air more easily, the Left Handed TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch Irons have a wide, beveled sole to prevent digging. Plentiful offset is aimed at keeping slices at bay by promoting right-to-left spin.
They Have An Extremely Wide Sole and Thin Faces to Promote Ball Speed
The long irons have an extremely wide sole that helps them work through the turf effectively and lowers the center of gravity; thin faces to create more ball speed; and a lower profile to make them easier to hit. In contrast, the short irons have a thinner sole, slightly thicker faces and higher, more-traditional profiles. The mid-irons bridge the other two designs. Unlike better-player irons, the Burner SuperLaunch has a thick topline, which is reassuring and helps high-handicappers and slow swingers hit straight shots more easily.
Each Iron Was Designed Separately
Like the Burner irons, the Burner SuperLaunch long-irons, mid-irons and short-irons were designed separately, which is clear when you see the long-irons, which boast a decidedly low-profile shape compared to the rest of the set. This shape, when combined with the wide sole and deep cavity, help make Burner SuperLaunch long-irons so much easier to launch at lower swing speeds. The low-profile shape also makes the long-irons look easy to hit, too. On the opposite end of the set, Burner SuperLaunch short-irons have a traditional face-height and profile, while the middle-irons are of medium-profile, about halfway between the traditional profile of the short-irons and low-profile of the long-irons.
Progressive Face Thickness Generates Higher COR and Better Feel
Progressive face thickness throughout the Left Handed TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch Irons has the thinnest faces in the long-irons for higher COR, faster ball speed and better weight distribution and thicker faces in the short-irons for better feel. Inverted Cone Technology in every Burner SuperLaunch iron helps expand the area of the clubface that delivers fast ball speed to promote more distance on off-center hits. Of course, the most critical performance benefit of Burner SuperLaunch is how easily they launch the ball and how high they launch the ball. Slower swingers will find it a breeze to launch these irons on an extremely high flight and with the spin necessary to keep the ball in the air long enough to achieve significant added carry, and when the ball comes down it will land steeply and softly.
Overall, the 2009 Taylormade Golf have a lot of success reaching different levels of golfers. But they are mainly geared towards players with slower swing speeds looking for assistance both in forgiveness and ball flight.

2012 TaylorMade Burner Irons Became My Big Investment

Purchased a new set of the 2012 TaylorMade burner irons about a month ago and to me was quite a big investment and is the most expensive I have ever paid for a set of irons.
Ultra-light shafts and grips are used throughout the 2012 Burner iron set. TaylorMade says the MOI of these irons are greater than any other company set; and the center of gravity location is progressive throughout the set.
These are very forgiving Golf Clubs Sale. They’re not as forgiving as their Shovel Headed corporate sibling Super Launch version, but then again–these aren’t exactly modeled after the old Tommy Armour T-100’s either. After all these are “Game Improvement” clubs, vs. “Super Game Improvement”, but on occasion, you’ll pure one of these and swear you’re playing with “A Player’s Club.” You may have to do a double take once in a blue moon to make sure that really isn’t a blade in your hand that just split the narrow opening in the tree line and hooked its way towards the green. These and the new Callaway Diabloes have proven the real surprise in “Game Improvement” clubs this year. Though not quite buttery as Mizuno Forged, they are still silkier through impact than anything off of their respective production lines in years. That is why the rather large amount of forgiveness you get from these clubs comes as such a surprise to me.
Based on product testing and player feedback results show the Burner Irons are 10-15 yards longer hits than its competitors or previous TaylorMade Irons. A longer, light shafts and a extra thin club face with high COR make this a superb club for generating ball speed and yardage gains. All round the club shows awesome engineering with its undercut cavity along with a sole created for shot making. Without doubt, the Burner is major advancement for TaylorMade.
In contrast to the many differences in each of these Golf Irons Sale, several elements remain constant, and which are also critical to the unique overall performance of the set. One is that each iron incorporates a Multi-Functional sole with beveled edges and of a relatively consistent thickness.
The TaylorMade burner 2012 irons really suited my game. I’m 13 and I’m off 3. The ball flight is really consistent as well as the distance, they are also very forgiving.

Most Forgiving Burner Irons

“There’s no doubt this is the most forgiving iron TaylorMade has created – at least since my beloved old rac OS irons – that makes it a great iron for mid-handicappers with patterns of inconsistent ball-striking.” This is the review of a golfer who is using TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch Irons.

One of TaylorMade’s most recent successes is its Burner iron, engineered to appeal to a wide range of players from the accomplished ball-striking mid-handicapper to the single-figure golfer determined to have the latest technology at their fingertips. But even TaylorMade admits the Burner is not for everyone – especially those slower swingers like me and again, like me, players who produce a naturally low ball flight.

I have used burner superlaunch irons for a long time. I tried and failed to launch the burner superlaunch irons high enough and long enough to enjoy the full benefits of the club. I needed something even easier to hit with ideally some generous offset to help straighten the inevitable block to the right and to get the distance I felt my compact golf swing deserved.

After knowing more about TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch Irons, I think I can get high trajectory from this set. TaylorMade sent me three to sample – the 5-iron, 7-iron and pitching wedge – and immediately the feeling of confidence washed over me – a two-tone top-line as thick as a Mars bar and a sole that’s as wide as a hybrid’s. A combination, surely guaranteed to get any ball airborne.

The 5-iron had a low profile shape, not dissimilar to a hybrid which made it the easiest of the three I tested to launch and control distance. The 7-iron, with its medium profile, while it launched higher was less easy to hit a favored 140-150 yards with consistency and the wedge didn’t give me the confidence to hit it full out with assurance that the ball would bite and stop.

However, around the green the thick top line and the wide sole of the pitching wedge made it easy to control the ball with delicate precision knowing the leading edge wasn’t going to dig in to the soft conditions we’ve been experiencing lately.

There’s no doubt TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch Irons are the most forgiving iron TaylorMade has created – at least since my beloved old rac OS irons – that makes it a great iron for mid-handicappers with patterns of inconsistent ball-striking.
