2012 TaylorMade Burner Irons Became My Big Investment

Purchased a new set of the 2012 TaylorMade burner irons about a month ago and to me was quite a big investment and is the most expensive I have ever paid for a set of irons.
Ultra-light shafts and grips are used throughout the 2012 Burner iron set. TaylorMade says the MOI of these irons are greater than any other company set; and the center of gravity location is progressive throughout the set.
These are very forgiving Golf Clubs Sale. They’re not as forgiving as their Shovel Headed corporate sibling Super Launch version, but then again–these aren’t exactly modeled after the old Tommy Armour T-100’s either. After all these are “Game Improvement” clubs, vs. “Super Game Improvement”, but on occasion, you’ll pure one of these and swear you’re playing with “A Player’s Club.” You may have to do a double take once in a blue moon to make sure that really isn’t a blade in your hand that just split the narrow opening in the tree line and hooked its way towards the green. These and the new Callaway Diabloes have proven the real surprise in “Game Improvement” clubs this year. Though not quite buttery as Mizuno Forged, they are still silkier through impact than anything off of their respective production lines in years. That is why the rather large amount of forgiveness you get from these clubs comes as such a surprise to me.
Based on product testing and player feedback results show the Burner Irons are 10-15 yards longer hits than its competitors or previous TaylorMade Irons. A longer, light shafts and a extra thin club face with high COR make this a superb club for generating ball speed and yardage gains. All round the club shows awesome engineering with its undercut cavity along with a sole created for shot making. Without doubt, the Burner is major advancement for TaylorMade.
In contrast to the many differences in each of these Golf Irons Sale, several elements remain constant, and which are also critical to the unique overall performance of the set. One is that each iron incorporates a Multi-Functional sole with beveled edges and of a relatively consistent thickness.
The TaylorMade burner 2012 irons really suited my game. I’m 13 and I’m off 3. The ball flight is really consistent as well as the distance, they are also very forgiving.

Left Handed Irons

When people hear the words “left handed irons“, some may think it refers to the gadgets utilized to iron clothing. Others may simply think there is no such thing; that it is simply one of those jokes used to make one look less than intelligent. I remember once when I was young; my Dad told me to go to school and ask my Shop teacher if I could borrow his “Left handed Monkey Wrench”. Like the young naïve lad I was; I went to school and sincerely requested that my shop teacher abide by my Father’s request. My shop teacher only laughed and told me he had already loaned it out.

Once back home I apologized to my Father and told him I could not get the tool he had required. Then my Father laughed and told me there was really no such tool at all. I am glad my Dad had a sense of humor and I guess I learned a lesson as well. However, it should be known that there really are “left handed irons” and they are not used on clothing. These are tools of the sort; they are the tools of the left handed golfer.

That is right; golfers who use left hand get to play the course as well. Therefore, they had to have a left handed set of irons that will allow them to be as successful as any right handed golfer could hope to be. Those left handed golfers that want to save par on a regular basis know they need a dedicated set of left handed irons to be competitive. These irons are specifically designed to allow the golfer who uses left hand to play the opportunity to get on that green in a hurry. The only thing he or she has to do is pick the right set of golf clubs for their game.

There are a lot of these type of irons on the market and quite a few well respected brand names in the industry that can deliver upon your expectations. Some of those great brand names are Callaway, Cobra, Nike, Mizuno, Ping, Titleist, and TaylorMade. Each of these companies produces some very fine left handed irons. TaylorMade for example, offers the Burner SuperLaunch Irons made out of both steel and graphite. Both of these irons are designed to allow the left handed golfer to get some distance on that swing.

Another great set is the Nike SQ MachSpeed Irons, which are designed for forgiveness. These irons are designed for speed, stability, and launch. The ball will jump off this club accurately and shoot down the fairway providing distance unimagined. Of course these are only a few of the great iron sets that are available on the market. As a golfer who plays with the left hand; you have to find the clubs that feel right in your hands and live up to your own individual expectations. It is nice to know that those irons really do exist for those who swing the other way.

Why TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch Irons Is Popular?

Taylor Made has a legacy of producing some of the world’s finest golfing equipment. The Taylor Made brand is on the steady path to increase their usage on tour with the Super Game Improvement. The best shot release id the Taylor Made Burner Superlaunch. Here is the review.

Forgiveness–5 Stars

If your overall golfing game needs straight, high and long action theTaylor Made Burner Superlaunch has got you covered. This club more than earns its accolades in this category. To serious and professional golf experts forgiveness isn’t the most sought after element in an iron. Beginners and high cappers are obsessed with distance. However, evidence shows that accuracy and a steady short putting game are the keys to keeping the scores low. They are as forgiving as their direct competitor, the Adams Idea A7 OS Irons.

Distance—4 Stars

The Taylor Made Burner Superlaunch features a super low center of gravity and a swing weight of D 3.5. Talk about stiff competition, these irons give up a little on distance but makes up for it in making the hit easy. The competition will have a hard time duplicating the height this iron puts into the launch and the linear flight.

Balance–3 Stars

With a swing weight of D 3.5, balance is where the Taylor Made Burner Superlaunch pales a little to the competition. The large head is paired with a 60 gram shaft. Their competition, while the set is just as large, pairs a D2 Swing Weight throughout the set. This doesn’t take any of the excellence away from Taylor Made; it’s just a matter of stating the facts.

Technology–4 Stars

Taylor Made has a reputation of producing some of the best rescue clubs in golf. But they haven’t produced any hybrids. (Left Handed TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch Irons) When you put out a series of Super Game Improvement Clubs, a hybrid should have a place somewhere in the set. The low end of the set should have a good hybrid to compliment the package. Overall I like the Taylor Made Burner Superlaunch for very good reasons. It’s unbeatable in some categories but still leaves some things to be desired

Enter the Burner SuperLaunch, an iron specifically designed to be spectacularly forgiving and easy to get in the air, allowing a certain segment of players – mainly slower swingers and low-ball hitters — to get more distance. In addition, Burner SuperLaunch iron’s generous offset helps straighten a slice and promote a draw.

Taylormade Burner Superlaunch Irons’ Super Review

Taylormade has released the new line of burner irons for players who wants to slower their swing speed, and put them into the category of Max Game-Improvement Irons. The new family member of the burner irons is Taylormade Burner Superlaunch Irons, with the low-profile design that can help moderate speed swingers launch the ball in the air more easily, while the wide, beveled sole prevents digging. Plentiful offset is aimed at keeping slices at bay by promoting right-to-left spin.

As for the irons of discount golf clubs, the forgiveness is that point, and it is often referred as the main factor of the irons. So how about the forgiveness of the Burner Superlaunch Irons? Most high-cappers and beginners are still fixated on distance, despite the ever mounting evidence that accuracy, and a strong short game, are the keys to lower scores. These Burner Superlaunch Irons are just as forgiving as the new Adams Idea A7 OS Irons for which they were built to compete against. The size of these shovel, er uh, iron heads, and their rather heavy dose of offset, make it nigh impossible for anyone who is giving the game any serious effort whatsoever, to not overcome even the most horrific of over the top moves. If your game needs long, high, and straight–these clubs are a great place to start. Therefore, it can get the full score.

Just like the same irons of burner series, the Burner SuperLaunch long-irons, mid-irons and short-irons were designed separately, which is clear when you see the long-irons, which boast a decidedly low-profile shape compared to the rest of the set. This shape, when combined with the wide sole and deep cavity, help make Burner SuperLaunch long-irons so much easier to launch at lower swing speeds. The low-profile shape also makes the long-irons look easy to hit, too. On the opposite end of the set, Burner SuperLaunch short-irons have a traditional face-height and profile, while the middle-irons are of medium-profile, about halfway between the traditional profile of the short-irons and low-profile of the long-irons. The shape progressively gets smaller from the long irons through to the short irons. Along with that progressive reduction in blade size is a reduction in face thickness as well. This face is thinnest in the long irons, effectively raising the COR and producing faster ball speeds and improved weight distribution. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the short irons have a thicker face which is said to improve the feel.

TaylorMade Burner Superlaunch Irons Men’s and Ladies’ Reviews

Taylormade Golf had a lot of success reaching different levels of golfers with their irons and one set that intrigued a lot of the players looking for more forgiveness in an iron was the Taylormade Burner Plus irons. The set was geared towards players with slower swing speeds looking for assistance both in forgiveness and ball flight. The irons were loved by many, but at THP we always thought they left a little something out. While there was nothing wrong with the set necessarily, our testers were not in love with them and when you set the benchmark as a company with the Burner irons, it is hard to live up to that bar each and every time out.

The performance of TaylorMade’s Burner irons has made it the best-selling iron model in the United States, and has helped thousands of golfers elevate their games to an entirely new level. The golfers that struggled with a low ball flight seemed a little left out in the dark with this new technology, but not for long. The Burner SuperLaunch is entering the marketplace for that very reason. The iron is designed specifically for this golfer and will allow maximum forgiveness and a club that is incredibly easy to get in the air.

Technology
From the company
Burner SuperLaunch irons are engineered to deliver tremendous forgiveness from end-to-end (heel to the toe) and top to bottom (topline to leading edge). In fact, it’s the most forgiving iron ever from TaylorMade. That makes it a great iron for high-handicappers with patterns of inconsistent ball-striking. In fact, Burner SuperLaunch irons boast the highest MOI of any TaylorMade iron, ever.
Multifunctional, Beveled Sole Promotes High Launch
The first thing you notice about Burner SuperLaunch irons is that each features a wide, multifunctional sole, which is key to establishing the low and deep CG location that makes every one of these irons so easy to get high in the air. However, each sole is strategically beveled to reduce the degree of interaction with the turf. That means you get the low-deep CG-positioning benefits of a large sole, yet it plays like a much smaller, narrower sole. When you rest a Burner SuperLaunch iron behind the ball, you’ll notice the substantial topline, which contributes to the exceptional stability and forgiveness. TaylorMade engineers cambered the topline’s rearward edge to give it a downward slant, resulting in a more dynamic appearance.

Individually-designed Long-irons, Mid-irons and Short-irons
Like the Taylormade Burner irons, the Burner SuperLaunch long-irons, mid-irons and short-irons were designed separately, which is clear when you see the long-irons, which boast a decidedly low-profile shape compared to the rest of the set.

Progressive Face Thickness throughout the Set
Progressive face thickness throughout the set has the thinnest faces in the long-irons for higher COR, faster ball speed and better weight distribution and thicker faces in the short-irons for better feel. Inverted Cone Technology in every Burner SuperLaunch iron helps expand the area of the clubface that delivers fast ball speed to promote more distance on off-center hits. Of course, the most critical performance benefit of Burner SuperLaunch is how easily they launch the ball and how high they launch the ball. Slower swingers will find it a breeze to launch these irons on an extremely high flight and with the spin necessary to keep the ball in the air long enough to achieve significant added carry, and when the ball comes down it will land steeply and softly.

New Grooves Design
Burner SuperLaunch irons incorporate a new TaylorMade grooves design that conforms to the USGA’s new ruling on grooves, which will be enforced in high-level competition starting in 2010 and in recreational golf starting in 2024.
